IntroductionManagers talk a lot about employee performance. There’s constant pressure to achieve performance targets, to reach higher performance levels, and to ensure that people’s work supports and furthers the organisation’s goals. Performance management is the process to manage this performance. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) is a quantifiable metric that reflects how well an organisation is achieving its stated goals and objectives. Introduction“The gem cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials.” ~ Chinese proverb~ In today’s competitive market, it is absolutely essential to systematically manage the performance of employees to make them as motivated and productive as possible. Any organisation that risks neglecting this important systematic review, is bound to fail when competing against those who use such optimisation. It is well known that motivated staff not only work harder and longer, but are also much more likely to innovate and bring new ideas than others. Innovative companies are much more competitive and can handle bigger challenges swiftly and come out stronger than their competitors. To create a productive atmosphere, an organisation simply needs to respond to the needs of its staff. Understating what motivates employees and aligning it with organisation’s objectives is the essence of an effective performance management system. This system requires HR support, periodic appraisals and constructive coaching sessions. How Will You BenefitUpon completion of this programme, the participants will be able to :

IntroductionPerformance Management Via KRA and KPI Framework is a two-day, skill-building workshop with intensive use of applied theory and comprehensive hand – on exercise by the participants. The program is highly participatory, personalized, and limited to a maximum of twenty people per session. The idea of a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) simply reflects the notion that some of the aspects of organizational performance requiring improvement or maintenance are more important than others. When a range of these important aspects are selected and a measure has been determined, a set or system of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) exists. The focus of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), therefore, is either on the aspects of organizational performance that require improvement, or on the aspects that must be kept within a specified level to ensure continued success of the organization. IntroductionAny organization is only as strong as its weakest link and just a few poor performers can adversely affect your entire company. Thought there’s no foolproof method for hiring the right people, there is a system for minimizing mistakes and consistently recruiting better, more successful candidates Though most managers understand the importance of hiring wisely, many don’t know how to do it. In the end, they often choose prospective employees based on gut reactions. While this strategy sometimes works, more often it leaves managers with ineffectual or unmotivated employees who drag the organization down. Decisions based on emotions, biases, personalities or stereotypes often reveal themselves as bad decisions in hindsight. The key to dodging this pitfall is to train yourself to base all of your hiring decisions on reason, not emotion Performance-Based Hiring system, a methodology designed in response to the needs of top recruits and based on how they actually look for and accept offers.
